Following our Visioning Process in 2018-2019, our congregation formed a Momentum in 2019 to build on our sense of purpose and put together a 3 year plan for ministry. Through conversations in committees and small groups, prayerful discernment, discussion of Joan Gray’s book Sailboat Church, a leadership retreat with the Momentum Team members, staff, and Session, the Spirit has led us to sail together into a new journey as God’s people here at Heritage Presbyterian Church! This Momentum Plan identifies areas where we already have energy, and seeks to build on that energy as we take the next steps forward together. On February 23, we presented this plan to the congregation and prayerfully committed it to God, trusting the Spirit to continue to guide us as we live into these initiatives over the next few years and beyond.
